1. Agreement
By using QuoteFormula, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. These terms apply to every visitor, whether or not you save a job or download a template.
2. What QuoteFormula provides
QuoteFormula provides free calculators, explanations and downloadable planning templates for estimating job costs, overhead, labor burden, prices, bids and estimate-versus-actual results. The tools perform arithmetic on the values you enter. They do not connect to your accounting, payroll, banking or project-management systems.
3. Planning estimates, not professional advice
Results are planning estimates, not accounting, tax, legal, payroll, insurance, investment or professional advice. QuoteFormula does not know your contracts, obligations, jurisdiction or risk tolerance. You are responsible for the figures you enter, for checking them against your own records and for deciding what to charge. Consider qualified professional advice for tax, employment, insurance and contract questions.
4. Your data
Business profiles and saved jobs are stored in your browser on the device you use. They are not uploaded to a QuoteFormula account or synchronized between devices. You are responsible for keeping any information you need. Clearing browser data, changing devices or using a private window can remove saved jobs.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use QuoteFormula to break the law, interfere with the site, attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access, introduce malicious code, scrape the site at a rate that degrades service, or misrepresent the results as a guarantee, appraisal or professional certification.
6. Advertising and third-party links
QuoteFormula may display advertising or link to third-party resources in the future. Advertising is kept separate from calculator inputs and results. Third-party sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and QuoteFormula is not responsible for their content, products or services. This version does not load advertising scripts.
7. Availability and changes
QuoteFormula is provided as available. Features, formulas, content and these terms may change. A formula change may alter a result you calculated earlier. Material changes to these terms will be reflected by a new effective date on this page.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuoteFormula is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. QuoteFormula is not liable for lost profits, lost jobs, pricing decisions, data loss or indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use QuoteFormula, which is zero.
9. Intellectual property
The QuoteFormula name, brand, page content and calculator code are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the calculators and print or download results for your own business. You may not republish the site, resell the calculators as your own product or remove attribution from substantial portions of the content without written permission.
10. General
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms are the entire agreement between you and QuoteFormula about use of the site.
